Reconstruction

February 20th, 2007

day oneWhen I was a lot younger, people would see me sketching and I’d get to hear about their cousin who used to draw. He was really good, but he doesn’t do it anymore.

I thought to myself “wow, what a jerk. why did he quit? I’ll never say ‘I used to be an artist’. not me.”

Three weeks ago, I said just that. I was talking to someone in a restaurant and it just came out. Wow, what a jerk.

Anyway, so now I’m trying to start this whole comic book thing up again. Maybe next week I’ll want to be a database administrator. Bleh.

Artists..pshh..Everyone knows we’re secretly lazy people that couldn’t find anything else to do. Also, why is that workspace so clean? You’re lacking the stack of empty pizza boxes and paint randomly thrown about.

You’re right, getting the desk into a sufficiently messy state will mark the end of phase 1.
