I should be working on the story, but instead I’m doing web work. I like to put things off. And in being true to my procrastinatory nature, I’m putting off web work in favor of making some Java classes for my own amusement.

In a fit of brilliance, I decided I needed a configuration reader. Making configuration change is easy in PHP, you just open the file and fix it. In Java, you have to recompile it and re-upload it and then it doesn’t work for some reason…

So I made a class that reads from a configuration file. It’s really elementary stuff, but for being as handy as it is, I’ve never seen it given as an example.

I’m getting back to the web work now, so I can get back to the comic thing, so I can get back to gaming. I have it all figured out.
