scoab (1.4) cop-out
October 23rd, 2007
Argh. Sometimes I get stuck. The sketch has looked better than anything I have done to improve it, so here it is. I’ll add more to this comment later, when the frustration wears off.
The jacket he’s wearing is a product of the Mmokwq Clothing Company, and works like the auto-darkening sunglasses. It only materializes when your surface temperature falls below a certain point. Or, I failed to erase the jacket here when I changed my mind in panel 3 and thought the jacket made him look too professional.

James, I can’t wait til your first comic is available in bookstores. I’ll be the first one in line to get it. That’s another awesome sketch. There’s an uncanny flavor, a lurid phantasmagoria compressed into your art. I’ve an artist friend whose paintings may amuse you. His website is www.traviscookart.com. I made the site, so please forgive the awful, clumsy design. His paintings, however, are very…interesting =D

Thanks Billy! I’ll even leave some money in my will to pay a limo to pick you up from the nursing home. Or maybe I’ll finish it before I’m 80…
I like his paintings quite a lot. I do hope they’re still at Cianfrani’s, I’d like to see them in person. And you did a fine job on his site
